This is a beautifully tailored Royal Army Medical Corp Officer's mess dress jacket. The outer is pure wool with a silk lining & cotton lined internal pocket. The jacket has been skilfully hand-stitched throughout. It still has the four original brass buttons down the front which suggest it is from WW2 or earlier as they have the embrodiery King's crown badge on one arm (pre-1952).
